As our course around this text comes to a close, I would like to share my overview/takeaway from the reading and study group experience:

Thrivability, brainchild of Jean Russell, is a concise and profound document representing an incredible collaborative research project into the possibility space for the future of the human species, and life on earth. This book distils the wisdom gleaned from the experimental application of alternative scenarios within the current systemic matrix. It represents a key, or guidebook for a self organising humanity, which offers a variety of options for interacting with seemingly intractable problem situations.

This book represents a combination of living elements. The author, the text, the collaborative enterprise, the readership, are all entwined in a co-creative dance of transformation.
